採用了古典時期交響曲的結構／語彙及瞬間逆轉的現代和聲／節奏，普羅科菲夫的《古典交響曲》是對古典出軌的致敬。拉威爾的左首鋼琴協奏曲是為在第一次世界大戰中失去右臂的奧地利鋼琴家保羅．威根斯坦而作，以爵士樂般風采，洋溢著多變的色彩與熱情的生命力。老蕭這首第六不僅擺脫標題與革命的轄制，更大膽歌頌生之喜悅。獲94年教育部文創首獎的新銳李元貞，她的新作《間奏曲：商》要顛覆管絃之海？！叛逆，如何界說？喜為曲目注入活水的澳洲指揮家米爾頓，2004-2010德國耶拿愛樂音樂總監、2007坎培拉交響藝術總監，再次受邀來台為您揮灑解惑之棒。世紀鋼琴大師蓋瑞．葛拉夫曼一生傳奇，不等上帝開門，早已單用左手為自己闢出一畝花田，大師風采邀您見證！
Sergei Prokofiev’s Classical Symphony, op. 25 incorporated the symphony structure and vocabulary from the class era with the modern harmony and tempo. Commissioned by the Austrian pianist Paul Wittgenstein who lost his right arm during World War I, Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand is a jazzy one-movement piece with rich colors and fervent liveliness. Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No.6 got rid of the imitation of naming and boundary of revolution. What a courageous celebration of birth! The new talent Li Yuan-chen will overthrow the world of orchestra music with her intermezzo: Shang for Symphonic Orchestra. The daring Australian conductor, Nicholas Milton, will guide you through the maze of confusion. The great pianist and the mentor of Lydia Artymiw, Lang Lang, Yuja Wang, and Haochen Zhang ,Gary Graffman has built his own and unique legend with his left-hand piano repertoire.
