《台原偶戲團》創團以來，致力於台灣傳統偶戲的保存、推廣及創新。該團製作人林經甫與布袋戲泰斗陳錫煌、漢學偶戲專家羅斌共同理出該團的創作原則，也就是對作品進行多層次的要求與探索，無論是編導監製以及每齣戲的戲偶、劇本、音樂等都必需是原創，因而發展出台灣傳統偶戲新的生命力。這次由台原偶戲團引燃的台法跨國偶戲合作「戲箱 La Boite」作品，在上一次一月份熱熱鬧鬧的預演在 TAV+ 結束後，引發許多迴響，本週台原偶戲團藝術總監 羅斌將為您解密「戲箱」，與您分享他們與國際接軌的創意經驗！

Taiyuan Puppet Theater performs traditional puppet theatre while finding new and creative ways to further enhance the beauty of this traditional art. Their working objective are together created by the producer Mr. Chin-Fu Lin, the puppetry master Mr. Xihuang Chen (age 75) and puppetry Sinologist, Robin Ruizendaal. No matter from the dramaturgy, scripts, and puppets in each play, or even music are original; they are trying to explore the different possibilities in order to bring a the new live to Taiwan traditional puppetry. “La Boite”, initiated by Taiyuan Puppet Theater, is an international cooperation of Taiwan-France puppet theaters. After the grand preview in TAV+ on January 26, 2008, it attracted a great amount of audience. This weekend, Mr. Robin Ruizendaal, Artist Director of Taiyuan Puppet Theater will be giving a talk titled UNFOLD THE BOX and share their creative experiences of the international exchange.

有關台原偶戲團
《台原偶戲團》創團以來，致力於台灣傳統偶戲的保存、推廣及創新。該團製作人林經甫與布袋戲泰斗陳錫煌、漢學偶戲專家羅斌共同理出該團的創作原則，也就是對作品進行多層次的要求與探索，無論是編導監製以及每齣戲的戲偶、劇本、音樂等都必需是原創，因而發展出台灣傳統偶戲新的生命力。

《台原偶戲團》的招牌戲碼如【馬克‧波羅】，是將義大利作曲家 Mattia Peli 特為此戲創作的二重奏與南管交錯運用，現場由兩位歌手獻唱演出；【廖添丁】則放進台灣小調及歌仔戲曲牌；另外，愈受喜愛的【大稻埕的老鼠娶新娘】甚至配合真人演員說故事及西洋古典弦樂現場演奏等等，這些偶戲劇碼不僅盡收台灣傳統布袋戲的精髓之美，更融合東西方文化內涵，觀眾無論男女老少、老外台客，都很訝異於上述這些戲碼在舞台上下所創造的絕佳創意氛圍。《台原偶戲團》所帶動的偶戲新風潮，近年來已在國內外得到了高度的肯定與激賞，成功地把台灣偶戲推上國際舞台。

About Taiyuan Puppet Theatre Company
The company performs traditional puppet theatre while finding new and creative ways to further enhance the beauty of this traditional art. The company combines the skills of puppeteers such as master Chen Xihuang (75), as well as Taiwanese puppet carvers, designers and writers. The music for our performances is generally performed live and much appreciated. All this resulted in several successful plays, such as “Marco Polo”, “The Wedding of the Mice” and “The Honorable Thief Liao Tianding”, “The Beauty of Taiwanese Puppet Theatre”. These plays have been performed in over twenty countries around the world, in many different venues, such as the Purcell Room and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Casa de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Casa Mila in Barcelona, 16th century churches in Holland, the city of Abakan in central Siberia, the Traditional Opera House in Hanoi, but also in the countryside of Cambodia and Central and South America.

All shows are presented with English and Chinese text projection. Interactive encounters are arranged after each show, so that the audience can have a hands-on feeling of traditional Taiwanese puppet theatre.
